itb has developed special technologies for the silicone coating of endless felts and conveyor belts during the last years.

The width of the seam- and connectionless products can be produced up to  3,500 mm. Circumferences up to 20,000 mm are possible.

The silicone layer can be brought to an absolutely smooth surface with different grinding procedures. Thickness tolerances up to 0.1 mm are possible.

Silicone types of the classification RTV and HTV can be used on endless felts, fabrics and tubes.

Product types which could be coated are in particularly felts and fabrics made of polyester, polyamide, acrylic and heat-resistant aramid fibers.

During the production of textiles the silicone-coated, needled felts find their applications especially on tranfer printing, laminating, decatizing and heat-setting calenders.
